Had to have ALL DUSK releases, and this debut EP was missing in my BC collection, and to be honest, in some aspects, I like it even better than the newest album. It is really RAW, just like I like them, so if you like old-school trad hard rock / HM with amazing vocals by a front-lady whose angel aspects with a devilish voice is what stimulates your fibers, you must get this one too !!

DUSK liked a post on my IG, I then listened to their old school hard rock on here, and The Toll is my favorite album among the ones on BC. All loving souls of NWOBHM should give DUSK a try, great vocals by Denica too by the way!!!

This album was pretty good. I liked the heavy sounds mixed with the clear, powerful vocals. This album is a slow burn, though. It gets better as it goes and builds to a truley epic finishing track. I will be listening to it again.

For me, the riffola of any band must be tempered by a voice that reaches out and grabs me. And Alex is just such a singer. Great to hear a lady singer against such amazing heavy backing. Love, love, love.
